DAY 21:

Paper Weaving

Fold a piece of paper or card in half and cut lines from the centre towards the edge, stopping before you reach the edge. Unfold it and lay it flat. Take strips of paper, ribbons or fabric and pass them over and under from one side to the other. You can add as many rows as you like. What else can you find to weave through?

Share photos or comment on our posts telling us how you did the activities, using our hashtag #30daysFroebel.

Froebel’s ‘Occupations include a range of craft activities… such as… weaving… which encourage children to develop independence; offering them first-hand experiences.’ (Helen Tovey 2020)
