DAY 13:
Teddy bears picnic
Set up a teddy bears picnic for you and your soft toys. If you haven’t got a tea set use some empty containers from the kitchen (e.g. yogurt pots, cake trays). What will you chat about with your soft toys? Will you find out about their day, how they are feeling, if they are enjoying their tea and cake? Maybe you can make up a story about your soft toys.
Share photos or comment on our posts telling us how you did the activities, using our hashtag #30daysFroebel.
Play is about possible, alternative, imagined worlds which involve ‘supposing’ and ‘as if’ situations. This involves being imaginative, creative, original and innovative. The symbolic life of the child uses life experiences in increasingly abstract ways. (Tina Bruce 1991)
